Avatar Selection, Rarity and Trading
Players begin by selecting an Avatar based on their preferences — a one-of-a-kind operative profile aligned to a faction orientation (e.g. Technomage, Prospector).
Each Avatar is generated with a Rarity Score that is defined by a permanent and immutable Skill Configuration — the base skills generated at creation. Higher rarity reflects stronger or more specialized skills within that configuration.
Players may roll or re-roll an Avatar’s Skill Configuration to pursue a rarer setup or a skill mix better suited to their intended playstyle. What’s rare isn’t always optimal.
Rarity affects how you start — not who you become
Skills, unlocks, and progression earned through play are owned by the player and function as a multiplier on top of the Avatar’s Skill Configuration. So your progress is yours.
This means an Avatar — including its Skill Configuration and Rarity Score — can be minted or traded, while the player retains all earned progression. Avatar trading will be enabled post-launch (Q4 target)
Inventory
As Players advance, they will have the ability to craft unique high-value items to level up their Avatar’s abilities or trade them on the open market. These items benefit operatives by advancing their skills, improving economic outcomes, enabling them to participate in game-wide competitions for unique rewards, and more.
The skills you gain can be used not only to advance in the game but also to give you the power to craft high-value assets. Stock your inventory or trade your skill-powered items to others on the open market
