Echo Interface Terminal
A Unified Text-Base Interface Used for Intelligence and Combat Missions
What is the Echo Interface Terminal?

One of the Echo Hub's core features is a unified text-based interface system. With systems such as the Reticle and other technologies that have the ability to create constructs largely indistinguishable from reality, it is extremely difficult to trust one's senses and perceptions.
To combat this, the Echo Collective has developed a range of largely 'analog' (by 12th Century standards) technologies including ancient command line interfaces and messaging systems that can be secured and audited.
And, although the Metric sees all, it does not have the ability to read the minds of organic sentients with pure fidelity. This means that cryptographic techniques that can be solved effortlessly by machine intelligences, gain a measure of robustness when encryption techniques rely on keys and other clues that are embedded purely in human memory.
Aiding Combat Mission Implementation and Cognitive Challenges
The Echo Interface is used by operatives to command forces in combat.

It is also used to help operatives solve cognitive challenges presented during missions.
