Mission Structure
Missions place you in dynamic situations requiring intelligence analysis, diplomatic negotiation, strategic decision-making, and problem-solving.
These are narrative-driven choose-your-own-adventure-style gaming experiences, with a range of cognitive challenges embedded within them. You can choose to skip these challenges, but doing so reduces your odds of gaining additioal skill points from the mission as well as blueprints.

- Outcomes affect faction standing, resources, and future opportunities
Embedded Cognitive Challenges
Challenges appear organically within mission narratives:

Many decisions involve skill checks:

Risk Assessment:
- GREEN: Favorable odds
- YELLOW: Uncertain outcome
- ORANGE: High risk
- RED: Catastrophic risk—likely instant failure
Higher-difficulty successes provide accelerated skill development as a bonus.
Faction Impact
Every mission choice affects your political position:
- Choices favoring specific factions build standing (and may damage rivals)
- Overall alignment shifts toward pro- or anti-Centopoly
- Character reactions depend on your reputation
- Some resolution paths require specific faction standing
All missions have special faction encounters, which if you are the appropriate level, can experience and engage with members from your selected faction during these missions.
